About the project and challenges

On the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, it is ideally located to explore the delights of Lake District fells, lakes and villages and just a short twelve minute drive from the historic town of Penrith. Just around 10 miles from the M6, we are easy to find yet in the heart of the countryside. 

The building has many contemporary features too but with a special nod to the past in the design of the Victorian kitchen which steps back in time to provide many Victorian artefacts and ornaments including the original working servant’s bells.

The property is set over 4 stories, the lower ground floor containing a small Gym, Beauty Therapy studio and Sauna.

The ground floor has a large Dining room, Kitchen, Butlers Pantry, amazing cloakroom and shower and an absolutely gorgeous contemporary Lounge leading to a spacious Orangery for relaxing or breakfasting whilst taking in the stunning views.

The Orangery leads out to the 6 seater Hot Tub which is situated in a quirky ruin surrounded by lawns and sunbathing deck.

The stunning first floor bedrooms provide 5 bedrooms each with en- suite facilities and spectacular views from every room.

The two Pent House suites on the top floor ( Champagne and Roses) have been created from the former servants quarters, each providing gorgeous luxurious spaces again with private en-suite facilities.
